Learn Italian in Tuscany @ Il Sasso

Silvia CelliE-mail.: silvia@ilsasso.comSilvia graduated in Languages and Literature from the University of Florence and obtained the DITALS Italian language teaching certificate at Siena's Universitą per Stranieri. She has written textbooks for Mondadori and Nuova Italia. She currently teaches at Il Sasso, where she is the Director of Studies. She loves children, animals, clothes, perfume, wine, and the theatre. When she gets the chance she likes travelling with Gianni and Tommaso.
Patrizia PorrecaE-mail.: patrizia@ilsasso.comPatrizia obtained her degree in Philosophy at the University of Rome. One of the old guard, she has been teaching for 25 years. She is a teacher and administrator at Il Sasso. She loves history, philosophy, long walks in the mountains, and singing in the choir.
Alberto QuintiE-mail.: alberto@ilsasso.comAlberto graduated in philosophy from the University of Siena. Another veteran, he has been teaching at Il Sasso for 25 years, and is an expert storyteller and wine expert. He is the last man standing among all the women at Il Sasso. He loves philosophy, reading, reading, reading, politics, mountains, and travelling both in the world and in his imagination.
Heike K. WilmsE-mail.: info@ilsasso.comHeike originally worked in journalism in Germany. She is so much more than Il Sasso's secretary, surprising students by solving their problems before they even noticed they had any. Her raucous laugh belies her German precision. She loves cooking, arguing with her computer, and designing and sewing clothes.
Sara ChierchiniE-mail.: sara@ilsasso.comSara graduated in the arts at the University of Siena, specialising in art history. She has a Master's degree in Cultural Heritage Conservation and Management and has worked as a museum and exhibition guide. She loves art history, modern literature, and walking by the sea at dusk, and she has a special passion for making desserts.
Costanza RossiE-mail.: costanza@ilsasso.comCostanza has a degree in linguistic science for intercultural communication from Siena's Universitą per Stranieri. She enjoys travelling, reading and cooking. She loves animals, especially dogs.
Cinzia CasagniE-mail.: info@ilsasso.comCinzia has a degree in Italian language and literature, specialising in the arts, from the University of Siena. She enjoys visiting new places, museums, and exhibitions. She loves the mountains, snow and skiing. She adores good cooking.
Roberta TamagniniE-mail.: roberta@ilsasso.comRoberta graduated in classical studies at the University of Siena. She loves the theatre, Roman and Greek archaeology, Italian literature and music. In her free time she cooks and goes for long walks in the country.
Carolina MaccariE-mail.: info@ilsasso.comCarolina graduated in foreign languages and literature at the University of Florence, and continued her studies at Siena's Universitą per Stranieri postgraduate school. She loves music, Russian literature, and walking in the open air. She enjoys travelling, going to the cinema, and relaxing with her beloved cats.

She enjoys cooking for friends and relatives, meeting people from different cultures, taking long walks along the lake and the sea. She likes taking care of her cats and of her orchids.

She obtained her DITALS specialisation in teaching Italian as a second language at the Universitą per Stranieri in Siena. She believes that you can never spend too much time travelling. She loves reading and listening to music, and enjoys the cinema, the theatre, Russian literature and getting to know different cultures.
