The Il Sasso school is a recognized seat of the University for Foreigners of Siena for the CILS Italian language proficiency certification exams. CILS 1502 Examination Center.

Those who want to take the exam to obtain the CILS certification from the University for Foreigners of Siena (cils.unistrasi.it/) or the CELI certification from the University for Foreigners of Perugia (www.cvcl.it/categorie/categoria-14) can prepare with us.

This is highly specific work aimed at passing the exam, which is done through private lessons. Our teachers will put students in a position to take and pass the tests using the authentic texts of the exams, and doing simulations that will take into account the time available and the evaluation criteria used by the examiners.

What kind of certification?

Foreigners who have obtained a CILS A2 level (or higher) certificate do not have to take the Italian language proficiency test required for the Permit of Stay.

To obtain the Residence permit, the CILS A2 Integrazione certificate is required.

To obtain the citizenship, the B1 level certificate (CILS B1 Citizenship, CILS B1 Standard and CILS B1 Adolescents) is required.

To enroll at an Italian university, the CILS B2 level certificate is required.

How it works

The school is responsible for registering candidates for the exam and administering the exam. The exam is written by the CILS Center of the University for Foreigners of Siena, which is responsible for correcting and grading the exam. The results of the exam are published by the CILS Center, which is the contact for obtaining a copy of the Certificate. CILS Certificates are issued by the University for Foreigners of Siena, a Certifying Body recognized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
